Officer's Powers & Responsibilities
All officers are required to know all the information that is covered here and be able to teach this information to the guild members that you recruit.  This section is to help you to get up-to-date and to be used as a guild when teaching new recruits.

Guild Invites

As officers in Bunny of Vengeance, you gain the power to invite new members into the guild.  With that power comes the responsibility to teach the new guildy in the way & rules of BoV.  This section should help you cover all the points.  You are responsible to teach them all this information.  Don't just give them this web page and assume they will read it.  Keep in mind that a new member MUST have somebody to vouch for them.  It can be any member of the guild that is of rank soldier or higher.

Website

Vent

  • BoV uses Vent and new members are encourage to use it.

  • For the lower level runs it isn't a big deal if you are on or not.  But for the higher level runs it becomes a requirement.

  • Inform them that they don't need a mic, but they will need to hear.  Otherwise they will miss:

    • instructions

    • discussions on loot

    • general guild talk.

  • Make sure they put Vent to Push-to-talk.

  • If they don't have a mic, make sure they turn on "mute mic".

Guild loot rules

  • These will of course vary a little from run to run, but here are the ground rules.

  • BoE:

    • roll Need if to is an upgrade for your character and you are planning on wearing the item.

    • Else roll greed.

  • BoP:

    • roll Need if to is an upgrade for your character and you are planning on wearing the item.

    • Else Pass and we will use the /roll command to figure out who gets the item.

  • A lot of times we Master Loot bosses that will drop BoP items.

Guild Promotions

Any of the Sergeants, Lieutenants or Captain can submit a recommendation to promote a character to a General or the Guild Master.  The following information needs to be in the request:

  • The character that you would like to see promoted.

  • The rank you think that the character should be put to.

    • Remember that Weekend Warrior, Recruiter & War Council are special ranks that are not normally promoted too.

  • The reason why you think the character should be promoted.  Be specific!

  • The request should be sent on forum mail.

    • This will allow the General to share the request with the other Generals if he decides to.
